- Project Stardust 2011 & NTYA 10/11 Nomination -
1 of the reasons why u should follow someones blog is to noe wads been happening with the dude. several things are happening recently and i wont announce anywhere else other than here. cos some secrets are best kept to the last... of course if you are reading this then the secret is out so help me keep it a secret k! =D
1) Project Stardust 2011
basically our band Punchline is joining this competition called Stardust 2011 organised by some group of ppl. haha better dun say if not ppl can find this page. so its made up of an audition den a semi-final if you pass the audition and of course the grand final if you pass the semi-final. our 2 previous live performances long ago were juz crap lah so dis competition we hope would greatly improve our own standard of performances and of course we are aiming to do well(if not join for wad). so dis is a secret because i dun wanna announce to every1 den get kicked out in the audition cos we dunno the level of the rest of the bands yah. will paiseh 1 so maybe pass audition or pass semi final(if possible) den ill announce and we will give our all in final. i would say we have improved since last time but as usual still far from anything good. yup i called it a Project cos it sounds cool fyi =P
2) NTYA 10/11 Nomination
i cant type out wad NOTYA stands for and u cant google it, gotta ask the NS guys for it if they even noe wad it is. well if its true dat im being nominated then its really a huge honour cos there are a few guys who ord liao who probably deserve it more than me if u compare our performance statistics. anyway this was a huge irony for me and I felt really sad and angry to a certain point asking myself why if you know wad dis entails. i couldnt turn to any1 since it was meant to be a secret but at least im over it now so dats gd i guess. wadeva the case at least now the nomination is real and i hope i dun have to do too many troublesome things...
well juz a short update on my life and yes every1 else in my age group who are from jc have ord except my batch and me of course. the counter is still ticking away and im starting to "wash my hands off of stuff" already. u cant have the senior NSF run the show everyday u noe u gotta plan for the juniors to work. im guessing chaos the moment we leave cos it was chaos when the previous batch left. either way its finally my turn to ord and although i love the work i dislike the environment. it used to be better but well ppl change(physically cos they went somewhere else) and the way others handle stuff is v diff so alot of adjustments to do but i dun really care anymore.
hope we get through the auditions and I really get to be NOTY dat would be nice! =D
