- ORD Countdown Timer Reaches Double Digits! -
before i start i wanna wish every1 a Happy New Year 2011!
the day u enlisted ur ord countdown timer starts ticking away at 730 days. 1 yr and 8.5 months later it finally reaches the sacred 100 days to ord. by now u should be lao jiao and quite comfortable with ur duties and understand how to chao keng and all(im juz kidding about the chao keng part, if u noe den gd for u =P).
I also wanna wish myself a v happy 21st birthday WOAH! i haven got myself my own gift dis yr so im looking forward to gettin it soon hehe. wad an apt way to countdown to ur own 21st birthday: doing duty in base NAISE. i wanna thank all the same ppl who sent me the annual birthday msg at midnite! special thanks to a group of ppl who called me! usually is sms but i nv expected the call. i really REALLY appreciate the phone call! =D
anyway review on my progress in things-to-do-in-NS. if u haven alrdy noe i had such a list, 1st thing i crossed off was my class 3(strictly not 3A license ah)! so happy was my 1st attempt oso hehe. in a way was my 20th birthday present for myself haha. after that was juz lots and lots of practice on my set and i felt i have improved by alot last yr. of course with other responsibilities i m quite happy with the amount of improvement ive gotten and dats the impt thing to stay happy playing ur instrument. sure im not a pro yet but hey im happy im still sticking to it and our band is still going strong! speaking of band, competition anyone? =D
also, goin for my kayakin 1 star soon and probably my kayaking 2 star after that. abseiling? juz an idea i dun mind actually hehe. so much for outdoors i haven been back to kota tinggi yeah since the last camp b4 i enlisted and ive been receiving quite a few requests, which i have to painfully reject, to go back and help run camps. i dun care im goin back there at least a few more times b4 i enter uni. its quite a special place for me ba i guess seeing the many happy(campers) and tired(instructors, LOL) faces. hopefully running with the same group of friends i met 2 yrs back.
oh yeah if u are those who are alrdy ord or gonna ord dun bother telling me how much lesser days u have left or no days left im not bothered 1 bit. i honestly enjoy and see satisfaction in the work dat i do unlike so many of u who complain of nothing to do all the way till they ord. working within this small special community really has opened my eyes to alot of things. lol im talking as if i ord liao. ok shall save the rest for my ord post in april haha.
well hope every1 is coping well be it work or studies. i dun believe in new yr resolutions cos i believe in juz 1 resolution "shuddap and do it lah". yeah seriously u could get more work done if u juz keep quiet and do wad is required of u or wad u wan to do. it has proven me rite so many times and im working towards being an even more efficient person.
