- Looking Backwards & Forwards (Part 1) -

This is the start of a series of entries I will be writing about and it will be long and draggy to some but I guess sometimes dats wad a blog is about. A space for ppl to share their thoughts and/or experiences about life and anything interesting, a blog to some is more than just ranting but a platform of relief and in a way comfort. The story I am about to share is about a friend of mine who has a huge impact on my life and has come to understand certain things as of this point and probably cannot hold back his feelings anymore, thus he does not mind my sharing with the rest of any1 reading here. I would like to make it clear that I would try my best to relate the story in a most factual and non-opinionated(if theres such a word) fashion. All statistics were retrieved from reliable sources and not meant to smoke anyone.

Primary School
To begin the story I would like to begin all the way back when he was in pri sch. Pri sch A was, to be honest, a rather abv avg sch for one to study in. He was juz the avg student in a common CCA B with not much aspiration to perform or achieve be it academically or CCA-wise. Until 1 day there was a recruitment talk about a unique and interesting CCA C, for a little boy with no goals, along with 2 of his gd friends in the same class decided to approach the teacher to express a little interest and juz to get more information about it. Little did he know dat the move for 2 of the 3 of them(last person did not have a CCA, u noe lah pri sch not v serious about CCA) to quit their current CCA to join CCA C would be 1 dat changed their pri sch life and for my friend in particular change the next 8 years of his life. This change took place at the start of p5 and for the time from p5-p6 interschs in the CCA was one of his happiest times of his life with a mini crush on a classmate. But since it was pri sch he didnt tink much of it since he thought it was juz part of growing up and the crush sorta went away.

Some background of the history of the team: previous yr the team clinched the champion for best senior boys team, senior girls team due to having only 2 girls compete was not enough to form a 3 person team thus not included in senior girls team ranking. However the girls were 3rd and 4th individually and the 1st and 2nd placing were from different schools thus the conclusion dat they would be in a great position to win the best senior girls team if there was a 3rd person. This was the start of many years of blazing results in both boys and girls div.

Interschs is probably the proving ground for your own attainment in skill in ur particular CCA. 3 months, after gettin the "racing" license required to compete in competitions and therefore interschs, the 3 of them took part in their 1st interschs and as expected did not perform v well. However, the senior boys team took champion by ending the competition with a 1-2-3 position finish. The girls team, or should I say girl team(?), yes u got it, was only 1 girl so no ranking for them. Individually the only girl finished 4th. With the commanding finish by the boys, the senior team boys and girls combined attained the overall school champion title(yes for those who dunno there was such a title back den based on the results of the boys and girls teams combined but they removed this particular award after dis yr due to unknown reasons). Dat was the 1st time the sch achieved the highest achievement in dat CCA with it being the 2nd yr of great results with a combined overall champion to top it off.

The following yr, 3 of them advancing to p6 meant they were the seniors. They were the 3 representing the 2 senior teams b4 us who has blown away the competition into bits. They were the 3 who were v stressed. My friend den realised as the p6 interschs was approaching dat he had a standard he had to achieve. Dat was to maintain it(if u haven realised, u cannot do better than a 1-2-3 finish) only with 1 year of experience and keep the legacy going. At dis point, my friend found his 1st real goal in life and dat was to live up to those expectations. It was not easy but the 3 of them fought together all the way to the finish. The 3 of them with a 3-6-9 finish was enough to maintain the proud legacy dat was left behind. The senior boys team, which was the 3 of them, and the junior boys team clinched the champions and the senior girls team took 2nd while the junior girls team took 3rd. Best performing sch for the CCA was in the bag and the 3 went on to sec sch. Sadly, they split their ways there and the story comes back to the story of the boy rather the the boy's team. Pri sch A streak of team champions continued for a total of 5 yrs running.

Part 2: Sec sch D is next... The story continues...

P.S. on a sidenote, back to when my friend was in p5 and still a newbie, the seniors would always pass down their equipment to their juniors after the interschs. thus it was a subtle but obvious (and literal) move dat the teachers expect the junior who receives the specific senior's equipment to follow in his or her footsteps. My friend received the equipment of the senior who finished 1st out of the 1-2-3 team.*hint hint* 1 physical characteristic of the senior who finished 1st was dat he was always wearing dis pink jacket. no1 else in the team had such a bright coloured jacket and this is until today 1 of his most fondest memories. dat pink jacket represented the top performing student in the CCA and it was with great pride dat he was allowed to even wear it, much less win the interschs in his graduating yr of pri sch.

"Eyeless" - Slipknot
(External Drums By KRIMH)

Insane - Am I the only muthafucker with a brain?
I'm hearing voices but all they do is complain
How many times have you wanted to kill
Everything and everyone - Say you'll do it but never will

You can't see California without Marlon Brando's eyes

I am my Father's son
He's a phantom, a mystery and that leaves me
Nothing!
How many times have you wanted to die?
It's too late for me. All you have to do is get rid of me!

You can't see California without Marlon Brando's eyes

It's all in your head
It's all in my head
It's all in your head

I tried - You lied to me for so long
Everywhere I go, there's a sense of it
Freak on my antics and give me a choice
Doesn't matter if I give a shit
It's shit that you gave me

You can't see California without Marlon Brando's eyes

It's all in your head
It's all in my head
It's all in your head

Do you wanna feel pain? Takin' my name in vain
Caring never felt so lame inside
Anybody else got pride? Do you wanna take my life?
Maybe I'll reverse my ride
Who the hell are you? Fuck you!
Better suck it up cuz you bled through
Better get away from me
Stay the fuck away from me!

I feel safe - Seems your saved

Look me in my brand new eye
