- Little Reunion -
went for liwei's little birthday gathering ystd till 12am today lol. mostly ex VS n mj ppl now. he gotta new theatre cum karaoke room leh so cool. tink was quite soundproof since cannot really hear anything after closing the door. wished it could have become a jammin studio if his parents was more musically inclined =S can put drums with guit amps n jam all day with no1 complaining haha. mr kua my sailing teacher in charge was there oso coz he was liwei's CT.den had training dis morning as usual. lol rigged up my full rig nice nice den during briefing wee lee ask me whether i rigged a radial anot. DIAO. how i noe he serious bout me sailing radial leh. last week he did say he wan me sail radial but was becoz atiqah say 1. din noe he was serious so still rigged a standard. den rushed off to unrig n rerig changing the whole mast. damn i tink i was quite fast lah cept for the part taking out the standard sail. was able to go out rite after every1 launched. den he thought the lasers today new technique of sailing leh. completely diff from my usual sailing style in strong wind leh.
last time juz used to hike out all the way with pulleys block to block n control lines tighten to max. now oso control lines tighten to max but need to play with main sheet n rudder alot. last time alrdy got play with main sheet liao but was for diff purpose. anyway emphasis was to keep ur boat flat all the time for max driving force forward. could feel the diff str8 away. last time always damn violent 1 coz keep smashing into waves. now not only boat flat seems like it sorta go over them nicely n not so bumpy ride anymore. it juz feels wierd lah haha.
den got new downwind technique somemore. dis 1 really hard n will take any1 alot of water time to even do properly. waves gotta be coming from behind n sail to the lee n bear alot. with dis u surf down the wave at a 45 degree angle n try to push forward to more waves in front. to do dis ur sail has to be more den 90 degree coz u will be bearing alot n will juz gybe if done incorrectly. today my sail bout 100 degree liao still feel v wierd. tink not enuf. coz he say need to have pressure on sail to plane properly but cant seem to find the rythem coz noticed my sail not full. crazy lah need to do bout 110 degree WITH control lines loose n daggerboard up. do u noe how unstable dat is? in fact today i din even dare kite my boat while tryin dis new method coz ur boat is constantly goin up n down waves diagonally.
den after trainin went eat lunch at simpang bedok with andrew n ben ho. met liwei n john who stayed over n had lunch with liwei as well. rain came n they could only stay n chat with us haha. talked bout jc life, a certain jc, frens, VS ya n alot of stuff which i cant remember but was great. alot of fond memories of VS came back n hope to see the rest soon. yes n i agree with john fully dat a certain jc seriously CMI lah. still remember how they used pics of their orientation to try pull VS victorians in. somemore all girl pics only noe! the only guys u see r the fun n loving.... TUTORS somemore. v smart tink we victorians no girls for 4 yrs juz use a few gal pics pull us into ur jc meh. siang de mei(tink too pretty) ah. not only r we not dat despo, we not gay as well ok =.=
now gotta put away my "car" liao n hit the books for promos. yes n im quite surprised got ppl actually notice my new countdown timer HAHA. my evo8 will take a very long break till after the promos. got hear dat the mt2 machines r in 1 of the arcades in east coast n MAYBE for 50cents a game only! dunno true anot. but dats all gonna wait till i promote 1st =X
